1. Who we are and what this covers
Sang Lucci Trading, LLC, doing business as Fuzion Trading (“Fuzion,” “FZN,” “we,” “us,” “our”), provides trading education, market analysis, live commentary, software tools, and related community and commerce services.
Fuzion Trading was previously known as Steamroom Trading. The operating company has not changed, and this Policy replaces the privacy policy published at steamroomtrading.com. If you joined under the Steamroom name, this Policy applies to you.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information across all of our services (together, the “Services”):
- fzntrading.com and its subpages, including the Membership, Tools, Live, Courses, and ZERODAY sections
- app.fzntrading.com (the Fuzion platform and tools)
- shop.fzntrading.com (merchandise)
- Our Discord community server
- Our email newsletters and marketing communications
What this does not cover. Third-party services we link to or that you use alongside ours — your broker, your data feed, social media platforms, podcast hosts, and any payment provider’s own site — operate under their own privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their practices.
We are not a financial institution subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. We do not hold customer funds, execute trades, provide personalized investment advice, or connect to your brokerage account. Our tools display market data and let you save your own layouts; they have no access to your positions, orders, or account balances.
2. Summary
- We collect the information you give us (account, purchase, and support details), information generated when you use the Services, and information from a small set of vendors and partners.
- We use it to run the Services, process payments, provide support, secure our systems, and market to you.
- We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process it for targeted advertising.
- We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.
- You have rights over your information, including access, correction, and deletion. See Section 10.
- The Services are for adults 18 and over.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
| What | Examples | When |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email address, username, password, profile details | Registration |
| Billing information | Billing name, billing address, last four digits and card brand, subscription and transaction history | Purchase, renewal |
| Shipping information | Recipient name, mailing address, phone number | Merchandise orders |
| Support and communications | Messages, support tickets, live chat transcripts, survey responses | When you contact us |
| Community content | Posts, comments, questions, screenshots, and other material you submit | Discord and course use |
| Marketing preferences | Subscription status, topic preferences | Signup, preference changes |
| Platform settings | Chart and workspace layouts you create and save in our tools | Platform use |
Payment card numbers. Full card numbers are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store full card numbers on our systems.
Webinars. We record live webinars. If you attend, your questions, chat messages, and any audio or video you choose to share may be captured in the recording and made available to other members.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information: device type, operating system, browser type and version, screen size, language
- Network information: your IP address, which we use to derive an approximate country or region and to secure the Services. We do not collect precise GPS location
- Usage information: pages viewed, referring pages, features used, and timestamps
- Course engagement: lessons started and completed, and progress through course material on Teachable
- Email engagement: whether an email was opened and which links were clicked
- Cookies used to keep you logged in and to complete purchases (see Section 6)
3.3 Information from other sources
- Stripe (transaction status, fraud signals, chargebacks)
- Teachable (course enrollment and progress)
- Intercom (support history and conversation records)
We do not buy personal information. We do not purchase, rent, or receive personal information from data brokers, lead vendors, or contact enrichment services, and we do not append third-party data to your profile.
3.4 Sensitive personal information
Certain items above are treated as “sensitive personal information” under California law and as “sensitive data” under other state laws — specifically, your account log-in credentials. We use and disclose this information only to perform the Services, to secure accounts and prevent fraud, and for other purposes permitted without a right to limit use under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you.
We do not intentionally collect information revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health conditions, sexual orientation, union membership, immigration status, biometric identifiers, or the contents of your private communications.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide the Services — create and maintain your account, deliver courses and tools, run the platform, and enable community participation
- Process transactions — take payment, manage subscriptions and renewals, fulfill merchandise orders, issue refunds
- Communicate with you — send order confirmations, renewal notices, service announcements, and security alerts (these are transactional and you cannot opt out of them while you hold an account)
- Provide support — respond to inquiries, troubleshoot, and investigate complaints
- Market our products — send newsletters and promotional email, run advertising campaigns, and measure their effectiveness
- Improve the Services — understand which features are used, diagnose problems, test changes, and develop new offerings
- Protect the Services — detect and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, credential sharing, and unauthorized redistribution of paid content
- Comply with law — meet tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, and respond to lawful requests
We do not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement, and we do not engage in profiling for that purpose.
Automated help suggestions. When you open a support chat, an automated system suggests relevant help articles based on what you type. If those don’t resolve your question, the conversation goes to a member of our team. Support conversations are stored with the rest of your support history either way. We do not use automated systems to make decisions about your account, your eligibility, or your pricing.
5. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information on these bases:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Providing the Services, processing payments, support | Performance of a contract |
| Security, fraud prevention, product improvement, direct marketing to existing customers | Legitimate interests |
| Non-essential cookies and advertising; email marketing to non-customers | Consent |
| Tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping | Legal obligation |
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object (see Section 11).
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Our marketing site sets nothing in your browser, with one exception. On every page of fzntrading.com except the contact page, we set no cookies and store nothing — no local storage, no session storage, nothing.
The exception is the contact form. It is protected by hCaptcha, which loads only on /contact and which stores data in your browser in order to tell a person from a bot. It is there to stop the form being used to send spam. If you do not open the contact page, nothing is set.
Analytics. We count page views using Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves at stats.fznanalytics.com. It measures page views without cookies and without storing anything on your device, and because we run it on our own infrastructure, your browsing data is not sent to an outside analytics company. We do not use it to build profiles about you or to track you across other websites.
Strictly necessary cookies on the platform and shop. To keep you signed in at app.fzntrading.com, we set a session cookie. shop.fzntrading.com runs on Shopify, which sets the cookies needed for the cart and checkout to work. These are required for those services to function and cannot be switched off.
No advertising or tracking cookies. We do not deploy advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking pixels anywhere on the Services.
Managing cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies above, you will not be able to stay signed in or complete a purchase.
Visitors in the EEA and UK. Because our analytics is cookieless and stores nothing on your device, and the only things we do set — the session cookie, the shop’s cart cookies, and the contact form’s anti-spam check — are strictly necessary to deliver something you asked for, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will add one first.
7. How we disclose information
We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
| Recipient category | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Payment processing | Process transactions, prevent fraud | Stripe |
| Hosting and infrastructure | Run the Services | DigitalOcean |
| Courses and video | Host and deliver course content, webinar recordings, and video | Teachable |
| Email and marketing | Send newsletters and campaigns | Brevo |
| Customer support and messaging | Host our support chat, respond to inquiries, send lifecycle email | Intercom |
| Contact form delivery | Receive and deliver messages sent through our contact form | Web3Forms |
| Contact form spam protection | Distinguish people from bots on our contact form | hCaptcha (Intuition Machines) |
| Community platform | Operate our community server | Discord |
| Merchandise and fulfillment | Sell and ship merchandise | Shopify, Printful |
| Professional advisors | Legal, accounting, audit | Counsel, accountants |
We also disclose personal information:
- To comply with law — in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other lawful requests, and to establish or defend legal claims
- To protect rights and safety — to enforce our Terms of Service, investigate fraud or unauthorized use, and protect the rights, property, or safety of Fuzion, our users, or others
- In a business transaction — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy or notice of a successor policy
Our service providers are bound by contract to use personal information only to perform services for us.
7.1 “Sale” and “sharing” of personal information
US state privacy laws define “sale” broadly to include disclosures for valuable consideration, not just for money, and California defines “sharing” to include disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process it for targeted advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not deploy advertising or retargeting pixels, and we do not disclose personal information to advertising networks or data brokers.
We disclose personal information to the service providers listed above only so they can perform services for us, which is not a sale or share under these laws.
We do not disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger a right to limit its use.
Our analytics is self-hosted and cookieless, so no analytics vendor receives your browsing data and none of it is used for advertising or audience building.
8. Your choices and opt-outs
Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because we do not sell or share personal information or run targeted advertising, there is no sale or share for a GPC signal to stop — but we treat an incoming GPC signal as a standing instruction and will continue to honor it if our practices ever change. We set no non-essential cookies, so there is nothing further for the signal to disable.
Do Not Track. Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a legacy browser setting with no agreed industry standard, and we do not respond to DNT signals. We do respond to GPC as described above.
Opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. We do not engage in these activities, so no opt-out is required. If that changes, we will update this Policy and add a “Your Privacy Choices” link to our site footer before the change takes effect.
Marketing email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also email [email protected] to be removed. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about your account, purchases, or security.
Cookies. See Section 6.
Account information. You can review and update most account details by logging in at app.fzntrading.com, or by contacting us.
9. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, then delete or de-identify it.
| Category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Account records and saved layouts | Retained while your account exists and after cancellation, so your layouts and progress are intact if you return. Deleted on request — see Section 10 |
| Transaction and billing records | 7 years, to meet tax and accounting obligations. Retained even after account deletion, as permitted by law |
| Support conversations | Retained in Intercom for the life of the account |
| Contact form submissions | Delivered to us by email and retained by Web3Forms only as long as needed to deliver them |
| Marketing contact records | Until you unsubscribe, then retained on a suppression list so we don’t email you again |
| Analytics data | Aggregate page view counts, retained on our own infrastructure |
| Webinar recordings | Retained indefinitely as part of our content library |
| Community content | Posts remain visible in Discord and are not removed when a Fuzion account is closed |
| Server and security logs | A limited period for security monitoring and troubleshooting |
A note on account deletion. We do not automatically delete inactive accounts, because members frequently return and expect their saved layouts to still be there. If you would prefer your data removed, ask us and we will delete it — see Section 10.
Where a longer period is required by law or needed to establish or defend legal claims, we retain the information for that longer period.
10. US state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights. Twenty states now have comprehensive privacy laws in effect. We extend these rights to all US residents regardless of state, which keeps this simple for you and for us.
- Know and access — what personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, the purposes, the categories of third parties it was disclosed to, and a copy of the specific pieces
- Correct — inaccurate personal information
- Delete — personal information we hold, subject to exceptions such as completing transactions, security, and legal obligations
- Portability — receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format
- Opt out — of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — where applicable (see Section 3.4)
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a lesser quality of service because you exercised a right
- Appeal — if we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing [email protected] with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days with our decision and reasoning. If we deny the appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General.
How to submit a request. Email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, extendable by another 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you.
Verification. To protect your information, we will ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling an access, correction, deletion, or portability request — typically by confirming control of the email address on your account, and for sensitive requests by asking you to confirm details we already hold. We will not create new accounts or collect new categories of information solely to verify you.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We will require written proof of authorization and, unless the agent provides a valid power of attorney, may contact you directly to confirm.
Shine the Light. California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83. Send requests to [email protected].
11. Rights in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you are in these regions, you also have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling for direct marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
International transfers. We are based in the United States and our service providers are primarily US-based, so your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with supplementary measures where appropriate. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards.
Our market. The Services are directed to customers in the United States and Canada. We price in US dollars, market in English, and do not advertise in or target the EEA or the UK. We nonetheless honor the rights described in this section for anyone in those regions who chooses to use the Services.
12. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit using TLS, access controls limiting access to personnel who need it, encryption at rest, multi-factor authentication enforced on all administrative and vendor accounts, and production database access restricted to two people.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
In the event of a breach. If a security incident affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law, in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, consistent with the needs of law enforcement and any measures necessary to restore system integrity.
13. Children
The Services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not direct the Services to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has provided us information should contact [email protected].
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
14. Third-party links, communities, and content
Our community runs on Discord, which is operated by Discord Inc. under its own privacy policy and terms. When you join, Discord collects and processes your information directly, and we do not control that. Posts, comments, and messages you make in our server are visible to other members, are stored by Discord rather than by us, and remain visible after you cancel your Fuzion membership. If you want your Discord content removed, you can delete your own messages or contact Discord.
We also link to other third-party sites and platforms, including the partners listed on our Partners page, along with social media platforms and podcast hosts. These are plain links; we do not pass your personal information to them. Anything you provide once you land on those sites is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice by email to registered users and a notice on the site at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
We maintain prior versions of this Policy and will provide a copy on request.
